Fowler Township Cemetery Rules & Regulations
All cemeteries are open daily, sunrise to sunset.
No trees, shrubs or any items that are permanent are permitted. Annual flowers are permitted.
No more than one burial or cremation per grave site.
No glass vases shall be placed on grave site.
A family cannot purchase more plots than members in their immediate family.
Resale of deeds must be made through the Township Fiscal Officer.
All decorations, flowerpots, wreaths, etc. must be removed by March 15 for spring cleanup.
All flowers on new graves will be removed by township seven days after burial.
No stone or marble chip mulch is permitted.
In case of husband and wife burials, the procedure is: Husband in right hand grave of double lot, facing east, unless otherwise specified.
Single lot grave site is limited to 44" monument foundation base, permitting a 36" headstone.
Double lot grave site is limited to 84" monument foundation base.
Top sealing cement vault or vault of similar strength and design is required.
Burial of animals in township cemeteries is prohibited.
Foundations will be installed twice a year, April & November, weather permitting.
